According to the nationwide report “Occupation Barometer” (developed by the Voivodship Labor Office in Krakow at the request of the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology, aimed at showing the demand for specific occupations in Poland), the profession of a welder was recognized in 2021 as one of the most deficit professions across the country. Interestingly, this profession is in a permanent deficit, continuously since 2015!
As one of the few professions, it is in short supply in every Polish voivodeship! Moreover, the long term forecasts for this specific job are not very optimistic and this deficit may deepen further. Problems with recruiting employees result, among others, from the lack of appropriate qualifications (in the case of professional welders, you must complete a special vocational course, pass an exam and receive a certificate, including TIG, MIG / MAG qualifications).
Most definitely, yes. Today, the industrial economy is developing dynamically, which causes a huge demand for specialized welders. It is currently one of the most sought after and valued professions both in Poland and around the world. It gives the opportunity to learn and develop new technologies, but also to improve existing ones. The demand for welders can be seen in almost every area of the economy. It is a profession that not only develops the industry, but also human imagination. Physical fitness and well-developed manual skills are just some of the features of a good welder. In order to perfect this profession, precision and insight in the implementation of welding tasks are important.
We encourage you to become a welder – a specialist with a valued skill in hand.
